Every trip is built to help you progress fast, without losing the travel spirit: small group, coaches with you all day, and plenty of time to enjoy the spot beyond the sessions. The group is international, a chance to ride and connect with riders from all over the world.

The flight to the destination isn't included — everyone books their own. We share the arrival airport and recommended time slots as soon as the trip is confirmed.

Kitesurf coach and founder of WindTrail, I spend most of the year on the very spots I run trips on. I only bring a group to places where I genuinely want to ride myself. A second coach runs every trip alongside me.

Do I need to already know how to kite to come?
All you need is a bit of autonomy on the water: being able to ride upwind.
That's enough to get started, every trip is then calibrated to the group's level, and you'll leave with your first jumps, tricks you didn't dare try before, or a genuinely refined style.
Is gear included?
No, it's not included in the base price.
A rental service will be available very soon — in the meantime, get in touch directly and we'll help you find the right rental option on site.
What if there's no wind?
It happens, even at the best spots in the world. That's exactly why we plan alternative activities — a WindTrail trip is never wasted time, even without wind.
I'm coming solo, will I feel left out?
Zero risk. Half our riders come solo — the small-group format (8 people max) means you never stay on the sidelines for long.
What does coaching look like day to day?
Coached sessions in the morning and/or afternoon depending on the wind, video debriefs so you can actually see your progress, and free time to rest, explore, or just enjoy the spot.
Is there an age limit?
You need to be 18 (under that, we can make an exception with a parent's consent — just message us). No upper limit: as long as you've got the energy, you're welcome.
Do I need insurance?
Yes, it's mandatory (kitesurfing is still a sport with some serious pull) — but it's simple and affordable, and we'll point you toward the right coverage before you leave.
What if I need to cancel?
We get it, life happens.
Cancellation terms are detailed in our terms & conditions — roughly speaking, the earlier you let us know, the more you get back.
We strongly recommend cancellation insurance too, just to be safe.
Are all meals included?
It depends on the trip (we spell it out clearly on each destination page).
Generally we cover a good part, and we also leave you room to discover the local food scene on your own, because that's part of the trip too.
Is the flight included?
No, you book your own — but we send you the arrival airport and recommended time slots as soon as your trip is confirmed, so you don't waste hours on it.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes: a deposit when you book, the balance 30 days before departure. Simple, no surprises.
Do you take photos/videos during the trip?
Always, it's part of the coaching (video analysis is serious business) — and if you're okay with it, we love sharing the best moments on our socials too.
