Cape Town
Table Mountain in the background, the Cape Doctor blows strong and steady over the bay.
A legendary spot, the birthplace of the King of the Air, to progress fast in powerful wind, between intense sessions and a relaxed South African vibe.
And every evening, the bay puts on absolutely magnificent sunsets to close out the day in style.

The Kite House
Feb 1 – 8, 2027
The Trip
The Kite House is a large, warm house rented for the whole group: everyone organizes their own way, and anyone who feels like pitching in can cook, in a friendly atmosphere where the mutual support on the water naturally carries over on land.
As for sessions, we generally aim for one slot in the morning and one in the afternoon depending on the wind.
Lunch is on the spot, and in the evening we head out for a cheerful dinner at a restaurant, breakfast, meanwhile, is whatever you feel like, at the house or out.
For anyone who wants to stretch the evening out over a drink, the chance is always there.
What's included
- Accommodation in a house right on the Bloubergstrand spot
- Airport transfers
- Coaching and video analysis
- Transport to the other spots depending on conditions
- 3 dinners during the week
The spots
Right across from the Kite House, there's Kitebeach: the KOTA (King of the Air) spot, usually with beautiful waves and wind that builds up steadily throughout the day.
When the wind picks up a bit too much at Bloubergstrand, we head to Langebaan: a stunning turquoise lagoon, perfectly flat, where the wind usually blows a bit lighter — between 15 and 30 knots. The ideal spot to fine-tune your technique with no stress.
For thrill-seekers, Misty Cliffs is THE legendary spot in the region: big waves, heavy conditions. Reserved for confirmed riders who want to take on the ocean.
At Hermanus, you've got a choice: the lagoon for chilled-out flat water, or the ocean spot for small waves in water noticeably warmer than the rest of the peninsula.
Cape Town and its activities
Cape Town is a proper big city, with plenty to do outside of sessions.
Highlights include watching the penguins, hiking (or taking the cable car) up Table Mountain, or trekking out to the Cape of Good Hope.
Not to mention great restaurants and a lively nightlife to round off the evening.
